CrazeeEat: Faux (fake) food

This 'Birthday Cake' is not what it seems!

It is actually adapted from a Thai dessert of pulut & mango. The mango is sliced thinly & layered on top of steamed pulut (glutinous rice) & santan (coconut milk). Serve this with some 'gula melaka' syrup. The letterings are white chocolate on a layer of dark chocolate (just spread melted dark choc. on top of a rectangular container cover). Put some melted white choc. into a small plastic bag, snip a little off one edge and start writing when the choc oozes out. VOILA!

This is just to give you an idea of what my blog is all about. ALTERNATIVE COOKING! One spoon, one pot.. (well, almost). Why? Most of us know it's healthier to cook our own food than eat out, but TIME we do not have, and the washing up ? - what a chore!
