EATING, TO ME

In 2008, I made the choice of being a vegan (consuming no animal products, incl. eggs & dairy) but it has become apparent that this is a mammoth task. I have various obstacles to overcome before I can be a true vegan. One is the problem of eating out and trying to balance healthy eating with vegetarian/vegan food which is often oily & deep fried. Healthy, vegan restaurant food is still very expensive in my part of the world.

About year later, I have bowed to the pressures of outside eating & found myself steering towards seafood as an alternative to the other meats (which I strongly exclude from my diet). So, I am now what some would call a PESCETARIAN (a diet which excludes land animals and birds, but includes seafood, fruits & all forms of vegetable)

2010 onwards.. sad to report.. I have succumbed to a meat-eating diet, but will try to balance meat-eating with more portion of healthier foods- fruit & veggies...
